Our friends at Kokoro Ju-Jitsu in Lowton are once again holding a traditional Ju-Jitsu weapons seminar following the success of last year’s event.

You’ll learn different techniques with a range of weapons through kata drills and bunkai application against an opponent.

The seminar will be led by three instructors: Sensei Ian Charlson and Sensei Steve Boughton from Kokoro Ju-Jitsu, Sensei Gareth Waite from Makoto Ryu Ju-Jitsu in Atherton, and Sensei Chris Davies from Leigh Ju-Jitsu.

The event will take place at Lowton Community Centre, Newton Road, Lowton, WA3 2BH on Saturday 2nd May 2026, running from 9am – 1pm and costs £25. Both kids and adults are welcome.
